Validation of dynamic virtual faces for facial affect recognition

This item refers to the dynamic virtual faces dataset created for the paper “Validation of dynamic virtual faces for facial affect recognition”. It consists of a computer program that displays several dynamic virtual avatars performing the six basic emotions (happiness, anger, disgust, fear, surprise and sadness) plus the neutral. This new dataset has been validated by a stratified sample of 204 healthy people. The objective was to validate the emotions performed by the dynamic virtual avatars as a previous step to use them in future social cognition therapies.
